Some disk space may be used for operating system and related binaries.
Each user account created can be allocated a specific amount of disk space. FTP and Telnet accounts have their own directory and Web site. Their site is accessed as http://www.yourdomain.com/~userid. These sites do not have secure server (SSL) access.
Secure certificates are available from Thawte and Verisign or you can get a GeoTrust.com certificate from us for $125/year; additional savings on 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-year certificates.
You can purchase a shared certificate for your account! The cost is a one-time $100 setup fee to configure the server plus the cost of your secure certificate. This will allow all domains on your virtual server to share a single certificate. Once this is setup, you'll just have the annual renewal fee of the actual certificate.
